April Begins at Kennedy Lake – Princeton, BC

A surprising amount of snow near the summit above Princeton BC. Living at the coast in Vancouver I forget that there are harsher conditions in other parts of the country. The sun was shining brightly but there was a lack of color with dead of winter clinging to the branches. The thaw has begun, but the lake is still frozen and has a velvety covering of glistening slush.
