The secret to long life…
A doctor was out on his morning walk. He noticed the old lady pictured above sitting on her front step smoking a cigar, so he walked up to her,
I couldn’t help but notice how happy you look! What is your secret?”
“I smoke ten cigars a day,” she said. “Before I go to bed, I smoke a nice big joint. Apart from that, I drink a whole bottle of Jack Daniels every week, and eat only junk food. On weekends, I pop pills, get laid, and don’t exercise at all.”
“That is absolutely amazing! How old are you?”
“Forty,” she replied.

What’s the real secret? Truth is, there’s no secret.
We all know that eating sensibly, exercising regularly and living a low stress lifestyle are the best ways to fight old age. The problem is we’re human. We indulge ourselves, feasting on junk food, depriving ourselves of sleep, opting to skip the gym in favor of a surfing the net and cramming the work week with deadlines and unobtainable expectations.
Stop! Slow down! It’s Sunday. Treat yourself to a nice salad and have a leisurely stroll. Don’t forget to smell the roses along the way.
